Roasted Broccoli Italiano

Ingredients:

1 lb. broccoli florets

6 tbs Parmesan cheese

2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced

6 tbs Extra Virgin Olive Oil

2 tbs lemon juice

lemon zest

salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
  2. Layer each broccoli floret in a single layer on a large cookie sheet. Add the garlic slices and drizzle 4 tablespoons of olive oil. Roast for 15-20 minutes under the florets are crispy-brown.
  3. In a bowl, add the roasted broccoli and toss with 2 tablespoons of olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice and Parmesan cheese.

Serves 4.
